Leaders without Authority and Building Civic Faith

In this op ed by Thomas Friedman, he lays out a textbook case for making democracy strong right here in Willmar, MN. Thank you, New York Times.

I am so very much in agreement with his article I stopped pulling highlights. I am a believer in Friedman's question: "Does your town have a critical mass of “leaders without authority”?

Because it is leaders without authority who use their power for community and the commons, who make democracy strong and resilient, and create thriving places and people.

Thank you to all the leaders of #WillmarMN.
The rest of us: take notes, take action for community. For democracy. For a sustaining future.
